Lincoln’s most anticipated event of the year is fast approaching! Over 60 local restaurants, breweries, wineries, and specialized vendors will be part of this event, bringing a delightful experience to our beautiful Downtown Lincoln space.

Most importantly, Omakase Por Favor will be there pouring sake and sharing bites!

Your tickets gets you entry to the Showcase Event from 6:30 PM to 10PM. Once inside the gates, you will have the chance to taste, sip and eat from local vendors in Lincoln and the surrounding cities. It’s a great night out on the town—

Kaiyo Japaneese Whiskey Dinner

Join us as we celebrate the refined craftsmanship of Kaiyō Japanese Whisky—a distillery renowned for its use of rare Mizunara oak barrels and its signature ocean-aging process, which imparts depth, elegance, and complexity to each expression.

Throughout the night, guests will enjoy a guided tasting of multiple Kaiyō whiskies served both neat and in thoughtfully crafted cocktails, each paired with a curated dish that reflects our bold Japanese-Mexican fusion style. We’ll explore everything from delicate, floral expressions to rich, cask-strength pours—culminating in a rare tasting of our exclusive Kaiyō añejo tequila cask release, the only barrel of its kind in the world. Along the way, we’ll dive into the unique story of Kaiyō’s ocean maturation and the legendary qualities of Mizunara oak, with opportunities to learn, taste, and connect.

Sacramento's Rainbow Fest

Sacramento Rainbow Festival enters its 40th year of successful fundraising on Sunday, August 31st 2025  for charities all  over the United States; producing the annual street festival featuring world-renowned musical talent, vibrant community interaction, and celebrating within the LGBTQ+ communities of Northern California. The Sacramento Rainbow Festival has given over $1,000,000 back to various charitable organizations.

This year, Omakase Por Favor will be supporting this event with drinks, food, and fun! This will also be the initial launch of the open-container entertainment zone. You can get a crafted cocktail at Omakase, then walk around and enjoy the festivities!

Featuring the legendary wines of Bodega Colomé—Argentina’s oldest working winery—this evening will showcase grapes grown over 10,000 feet above sea level in the breathtaking Calchaquí Valley. These high-altitude wines deliver intense flavor, bright acidity, and stunning balance.

The estate is now part of the Hess Family Wine Estates, after visionary vintner Donald Hess recognized its extraordinary potential and brought global attention to this hidden gem of Argentina.

INTERNATIONAL MALBEC DAY

MOST WINE DRINKERS can swirl a glass and mutter something about "tannins." But when it comes to South American Malbec? The real story is in the altitude—and if you don’t know how elevation changes everything about the grape, then congratulations: you’ve just found your next wine awakening.

To celebrate International Malbec Day, we’re pouring a curated flight from Bodega Colomé, Argentina’s legendary high-altitude winery (think: vineyards over 10,000 feet). Three wildly different wines, each with its own backstory, texture, and punch—all paired with unique dishes from Chef Jeana.

Here’s your study guide:

🍇 2024 Colomé Torrontés – Argentina’s flagship white, grown between 5,500–7,500 ft. Floral, citrusy, electric.
🍷 2022 Colomé Estate Malbec – A blend of four altitudes (5,500 to 10,200 ft), aged in French oak for 15 months. Dark fruit, spice, and structure.
🫐 2022 Colomé Auténtico Malbec – No oak. No makeup. Just purity. Crafted with old-school punchdowns and aged in concrete eggs.
